Capstone Project

Five teams of three students each competed in a national competition to design a multi-use facility using a fictional site in a Detroit neighborhood that was formerly a mixture of industry and residential. Our design intends to be the heart of the community and its new growth. In addition, this design will strengthen and revitalize the neighboring areas by providing jobs, fresh produce, and learning opportunities for the residents. Our project won second place in the class competition for the three submission slots for the national contest.
